Don’t Stop

How The Sopranos really ended.  Yes, there are about a thousand of these parodies circulating on the web, but this one is actually pretty funny (featuring Phillip Wilburn and Artemis Pebdani from the Big News comedy ensemble).

I’ve been working on the book all day but will hopefully make it to the theater tonight to see A Mighty Heart (I haven’t been to the theater in at least a week).  And, yes, I’m still jealous of all you big city people who got to see Sicko a week before I did.

Ah good: the only reason I go to stuff in preview is to make non-New Yorkers jealous ;).

It’s to make up for living in Buffalo for four years and having to wait for months (or forever) for the interesting (i.e., non-wide-release) stuff to show up in the theaters.

I suppose it’s only fair. I was spoiled by four years of living in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. To be honest, Fayetteville could be a lot worse, so I really shouldn’t complain.

What’s missing from my story is that i drove 6.5 hours in traffic to make it to NYC to see the opening of Sicko… Ah, the power of rental cars. So don’t be jealous.

You know, I considered driving six hours to Atlanta or DC (I live halfway between both cities). So maybe I should stop whining.
