Democrats for Romney

Writing Working on my paper on parody campaign advertisements and just came across this new one from Andy Cobb, “Democrats for Romney.”

I like this video in particular not only because it offers a much needed parody of the 2008 primary season but also because it seems to have more substance than most parodies. Cobb also produced one of my favorite political mashups, the “Godfather IV” trailer I wrote about here a few months ago (h/t Atrios).

That’s a good one. Some of these parody ads are spot on. Living in Michigan, I am glad the primary is finally here so I can hearing the attack ads, even in the small amount of TV I watch.

I have the good (or bad, I’m not sure) fortune of living in North Carolina where our primaries aren’t until May 5, which means almost no attack ads (or political ads at all).

I think I’d take a couple of days of attack ads, though, just to stop seeing so many Juno ads.
