Six Degrees, Blogger Style

Just found out through a rather convoluted chain of events that one of my new colleagues is a blogger. E. David Morgen is the author of Scrivenings, and it looks like we’ll be working together (hopefully with the collaboration of many others) on organizing a September Project event (or two) here in Atlanta. Very cool.

Since you’ve linked to me, I guess I should drop a comment here…It’s really great to hear from you, and I’m loving your blog, mostly so far for strictly personal utilitarian purposes–I want to incorporate blogging into my 1101 classes this fall, or should I say in two weeks?!?!, and even just skimming your site thus far I’ve gotten some god ideas. I haven’t even actually met you yet, and I’m thrilled to be working with you. I think i’m going to have fun at Tech.

Thanks for the compliments on the blog! The semester is approaching way too quickly. August 16 is *way* too early. The Brittain Fellows are a great group. Should be an exciting year.

Hey Chuck, I’m interested in this sept. 11 project so perhaps I could pitch in whatever needs getting done. I’ll see you in a few weeks on T/th and we can talk about it if you want. Have fun in ILL. HOME of The Rock Star of the DNC !!!!

Thanks, Doreen. I’ll send out some info when I get back to Atlanta.
